This calculator estimates flat steel sheet mass using a nominal density of 7,850 kg/m³. Enter the dimensions of one leaf, sheet thickness and number of faces. Do not enter the overall door thickness as sheet thickness.
The result includes only the entered steel sheets and the additional component weight you supply. Add actual frame, reinforcement, core, glass, finishes and hardware weights; subtract openings when preparing a detailed bill of materials.
For example, 1,000 × 2,000 mm, 1.5 mm sheet and two faces gives 47.1 kg of sheet steel before other components. The total is a planning estimate, not a certified finished weight or a hardware recommendation.
